Conventional Machining

Nova Engineering Works can provide either “Conventional” or “CNC” machining services. The Conventional Machine Shop houses lathes, milling machines, boring mills, plano millers, cylindrical grinders, etc. Turning work up to 5.5 meters in length and 1.5 m in diameter can be undertaken as well as grinding work up to 3 meters in length. Milling and drilling work can be accommodated on the milling machines, boring mills and plano miller.

Qualified, skilled tradesmen and operators are utilised as machinists. All machined components are inspected and measured, and all relevant dimensions recorded, before despatch. Nova Engineering Works has its own fabrication workshops on site. This gives us the ability to produce and finish machine fabrications to our customer`s specifications.
